(Excerpt from SUNRISE FROM AN ICY HEART)
Love is like the heat of summer, the passion of Romeo and Juliet, the seductiveness of Cleopatra, the anticipation of a new spring, the feel of a burning fire, the vibrancy of the fall leaves, the warmth of a coat in the winter, all rolled into a heart with everything fitting into place like a completed jigsaw puzzle.
One of the many books I like is BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY
A love story----Very powerful. A bored housewife who had four days of sensual loving. Although she felt movements in her body that were dormant for so long she refused to disrupt her family to answer to her quivering body and deny herself a love that would remain in the memory banks of her mind. Her lover likewise, a loner who travelled doing photography and never again felt the sensation he received that four days in 1962.
They died with their memories.
A true love story full of emotion. Makes you cry reading their story.
